The other night, my wife Jessica pointed at our cat Reuben and called him “Soft Serve,” because he looked like he’d been poured out of a soft serve ice cream machine. She started to gesture the motion of the pouring action, and I knew I needed to animate it.

Back in 1993, my friend David and I had a fairly elaborate routine of backyard acrobatics. Here is a clip my Mom took of us doing a trick we learned from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I’m the one on the left.

Inversion. You can do a lot with an iPhone and a butter knife.

I posted a portrait of Marlo Meekins a few months ago. It took me a few tries to get the one I ended up posting. Check out my first tries! I used to think they were bad, but now I think they’re all neat in their own ways. I posted a portrait of Marlo Meekins a few months ago. It took me a few tries to get the one I ended up posting. This is Tad Carpenter, an illustrator/designer from KC. Tad was in town a month ago, and Jess had the pleasure of taking him out to dinner in our hood. Great conversation, great dude. Look up his work if you haven’t already.

This is an animated gif of Ezra Pound, an American poet. I was commissioned to draw a portrait of him, but ended up creating a few variations. Here they are animated.

I told Cole that I liked his shirt. He said thanks and informed me that it used to be his wife’s shirt. I wanna share clothes with my wife, but she’s too small.

Can’t think of any good words, so I drew him. RIP Robin Williams.

Heath Wilcock asked me if I had any art pertaining to “chaos” lying around. I wasn’t sure, so I decided to create some based off his face.

Jason D and the Thoughts of God

This is a music video called Dream Catcher that I made for my friends Les and Brandon.
